Content Removal Policy
Effective Date: July 6, 2026 Last Updated: July 6, 2026
ModelPlug LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("ModelPlug," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to a safe, lawful platform. This Content Removal Policy explains how anyone — whether or not they have a ModelPlug account, and without logging in or making a payment — can ask us to remove content, and how we respond. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Complaint Policy, 18 U.S.C. § 2257 Statement, and Privacy Policy.
1. What Can Be Removed
We will review and, where warranted, remove content processed or distributed through the Service that:
- depicts a minor, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
- is non-consensual, including intimate images shared without the consent of everyone depicted ("revenge porn"), or content depicting a person who did not consent to its creation or distribution;
- was uploaded by someone without the rights or authorization to do so;
- infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights (see Section 4);
- discloses another person's private or personal information without a lawful basis; or
- otherwise violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.
2. How to Submit a Removal Request
Use our online Complaints & Content Removal form — no account or login required — or email hello@modelplug.com with the subject line "Content Removal Request." Please include:
- a link, screenshot, or other identifier that lets us locate the content;
- the basis for your request (for example, "non-consensual," "depicts me and I did not consent," "copyright," "depicts a minor");
- your relationship to the content or the person depicted, and your authority to make the request;
- a statement, made in good faith, that the information in your request is accurate; and
- a way to contact you.
You may request that your identity be kept confidential from the uploader, and we will honor that request except where disclosure is required by law.
3. What Happens Next
| Stage | Our commitment |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | We confirm receipt within 72 hours. |
| Review & resolution | We assess the request and resolve it within five (5) business days — removing verified violations and suspending or terminating the responsible account where warranted. |
| Response | Every request receives a response and an explanation of what action was taken, subject to legal and privacy limits. |
Illegal content is handled on an expedited basis. Suspected CSAM and non-consensual intimate imagery are actioned immediately upon verification — ahead of the timelines above — and reported to Segpay and the relevant authorities where necessary.
4. Copyright — DMCA Notice and Takedown
ModelPlug complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). To report copyright infringement, send a notice to our Designated Copyright Agent that includes all six elements required by § 512(c)(3):
- a physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- identification of the infringing material and enough detail to locate it;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.

Counter-notification. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under § 512(g) containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat infringers. Accounts that are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices will be terminated. As a general matter, we apply a three-strike policy within any 12-month period, after which the account is permanently closed.
False claims. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
5. Non-Consensual Content — Consent and Appeal
Any individual depicted in content may challenge that content, whether or not they hold a ModelPlug account. These requests are free, require no account, and are prioritized.
- Consent must be confirmed. When content is challenged as non-consensual, we require the uploader to confirm that appropriate consent was obtained from every person depicted and to provide reasonable evidence of that consent.
- Immediate removal if consent cannot be established. If appropriate consent cannot be promptly established, the content is removed immediately while the matter is reviewed.
- Neutral third-party resolution. If there is a genuine dispute about whether valid consent exists, the dispute is referred to a neutral third party for resolution at ModelPlug's expense. The content remains removed pending that resolution.
For confirmed violations we also terminate the responsible account and, where appropriate, cooperate with hash-matching initiatives (such as StopNCII.org) and law enforcement to prevent re-upload.
6. Content Depicting Minors / CSAM
We have zero tolerance for CSAM. Confirmed content is removed immediately, the account is terminated, and the matter is reported to Segpay and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement, consistent with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
7. Appeals
If you are a user whose content was removed and you believe the decision was wrong, you may appeal by replying to our decision notice, using the Complaints & Content Removal form, or emailing hello@modelplug.com with the subject line "Removal Appeal." We will review appeals promptly and respond with a final determination.
