This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at https://modelplug.com (the "Site"), use our software platform — including the dashboard, browser extensions, desktop applications, and APIs — and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, username, password, role (e.g., creator, agency administrator), profile picture, time zone, and account preferences.
Billing & Payment Data: Billing address, payment method details (processed via tokenized third-party payment processors), country, tax/VAT information, plan selection, subscription history, and invoice records. We do not collect or store complete credit or debit card information.
Identity & Age Verification Data (when needed): Government-issued ID details, date of birth, and limited verification images, only where necessary to confirm eligibility, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.
Content & Media: Files, videos, images, audio, text (titles, captions, descriptions, tags), thumbnails, and related metadata you upload, generate, or process through the Service ("User Content").
Connected Platform Credentials: Encrypted authentication tokens, session credentials, or API keys for third-party platforms you connect (e.g., OnlyFans, Fansly, Slushy, ManyVids, Clips4Sale, Yourvids, Streamate, Google Drive, Dropbox).
Support & Communications Data: Messages you send via email, support forms, or chat (including attachments), feedback, and related correspondence.
Marketing & Communications Preferences: Opt-in/opt-out status for newsletters, product updates, promotions; consent records where required.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Technical & Device Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, language, time zone, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Usage Data: Login data, pages and features used, clickstream data, session duration, referral URLs, timestamps, crash and error logs, performance metrics.
Tracking Technologies: Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 8).
Processing & Job Activity Data: Records of media processing, upload, watermark removal, AI generation, posting, and scheduling activity.
Security & Fraud Monitoring Data: Login attempt history, session validation data, account access patterns, anomaly detection signals.
C. Information from Third Parties
Payment Processors: Tokenized payment confirmations, declines, chargeback information, fraud-prevention signals.
Connected Platforms: Account metadata, post status, engagement metrics, and similar data returned by third-party platforms you have authorized.
Analytics Providers: Aggregated or pseudonymized metrics on Service usage and performance.
D. Information We Do Not Knowingly Collect
We do not seek to collect sensitive personal data such as health, biometric, or genetic data. Please do not include such data in support tickets or uploads.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18.

(a) Directly from you when you register, configure your account, upload Content, contact support, subscribe, or otherwise interact with the Service;
(b) Automatically through your use of the Service (logs, analytics, security telemetry);

AI-Powered Features
- Generating titles, descriptions, tags, and captions optimized for each Connected Platform
- Removing watermarks from videos at your direction
- Auto-generating thumbnails and metadata
Billing, Payments, and Subscriptions
- Processing payments, refunds, and chargebacks
- Issuing invoices and managing subscription renewals
- Tax, accounting, and reporting compliance
Support and Communications
- Responding to inquiries, support tickets, and feedback
- Sending operational notices (e.g., service incidents, security alerts, terms updates)
Security, Fraud Prevention, and Enforcement
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Monitoring suspicious activity and enforcing our Terms of Service

5. AI-Powered Tools
The Service includes AI-powered features ("AI Tools"), including AI-generated titles, descriptions, tags, captions, and AI-based watermark removal.
How AI Tools work:
- AI Tools operate only when you actively submit Content for processing.
- Your input and the Service's output may be processed by ModelPlug and our AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI or similar) under written agreements requiring confidentiality and security.
- AI Tools generate outputs as suggestions only — you are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving outputs before publication.
No automated decision-making about you: We do not use AI to make decisions about users that produce legal or similarly significant effects. AI processing is limited to user-directed Content generation and optimization.
Your data and AI training: We do not allow our AI service providers to use your User Content to train their general-purpose models, except as necessary to perform the requested AI processing.
6. Connected Platforms and Third-Party Services
The Service is designed to integrate with third-party platforms ("Connected Platforms") and tools you choose to connect, such as:
- Content distribution platforms: OnlyFans, Fansly, Slushy, ManyVids, Clips4Sale, Yourvids, Streamate, and similar services
- Storage providers: Google Drive, Dropbox, and similar services
- Payment processors: Stripe and similar services
- AI service providers: OpenAI and similar services
When you connect a Connected Platform, you authorize us to access, store, and use credentials and data you provide for that platform solely to operate the Service on your behalf.
Important:
- Your use of any Connected Platform is governed by that platform's terms and privacy policy.
- ModelPlug is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any Connected Platform.
- Trademarks of Connected Platforms are the property of their respective owners.
We do not sell, rent, or share your User Content with Connected Platforms except as you direct.
7. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California CPRA.
We disclose information only as follows:
Service Providers: We work with vendors who help us operate the Service, including:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Payment processors
- Analytics and performance monitoring providers
- Email, support, and communications platforms
- Security and fraud-prevention providers
- AI service providers
These vendors are bound by written contracts requiring confidentiality, security, and use only on our documented instructions.
Connected Platforms (at your direction): When you authorize content posting or library import, we transmit data to those platforms as configured by you.
Legal & Safety: We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with law, legal process, or government request
- Enforce our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of ModelPlug, our users, or others
- Investigate fraud or abuse
Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, we may transfer information as part of that transaction.
With Your Consent: We may share information with your express consent for purposes you approve.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, SDKs, local storage) on the Site and Service.
Categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — required for security, authentication, and core functionality. Always active.
- Functional — remember preferences and enhance your experience. With consent where required.
- Performance & Analytics — measure usage, diagnose issues, and improve the Service. With consent where required.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because no consistent industry standard exists.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. General retention periods:

We may retain information longer when required by law, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, or to protect against fraud (a "Legal Hold").
When the retention period ends, we securely delete or irreversibly anonymize the data.
10. International Data Transfers
ModelPlug LLC is based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards, including:
- EEA: European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) (2021/914)
- UK: UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK Addendum to the EU SCCs
- Switzerland: SCCs as recognized by the Swiss FDPIC

No system is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you believe a minor has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us immediately at support@modelplug.com and we will delete the information promptly.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for content depicting minors. Any User Content depicting individuals under 18 will be removed, your account will be terminated, and we will report the matter to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data
- Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

- Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on consent to process your data

We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
14. State-Specific Privacy Rights (US)
This section supplements the Policy for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws.
A. California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in Section 13, plus:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, share, and disclose
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share your personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive PI for purposes other than those permitted
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny services for exercising your rights
California "Shine the Light": California residents may request once per year, free of charge, information about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Email privacy@modelplug.com.
B. Other US States
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia may have similar rights, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of targeted advertising or profiling.
C. Nevada
Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to privacy@modelplug.com. We do not currently sell personal information triggering the statute's opt-out requirements.
D. How to Exercise Your Rights
Email privacy@modelplug.com with your request and the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf with valid written authorization.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@modelplug.com with the subject line "Appeal."
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last Updated" date and provide notice of material changes by:
- Sending an email to the address associated with your account; or
- Displaying a prominent notice through the Service.
Material changes will take effect at least 30 days after notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
